Elevate Your Career with NMETC’s Advanced Online EMT Classes
If you’ve been looking for advanced EMT training in an EMT online school, NMETC offers a blend of challenging curriculum, experienced instruction and skills training, all taught in a supportive learning environment.
At NMETC, we teach advance EMT programs through a highly interactive, Web-based curriculum that utilizes a virtual classroom to deliver emergency medical technician online training. Students will have to complete 100 hours of clinical internship and a minimum of 100 hours of field internship time on an ambulance with 30 team leader patient contacts. Once you successfully complete the classroom and practical portions of the course, you will be eligible for the National Registry exam, as well as the Massachusetts State EMS certification.
NMETC graduates are eligible to take the NREMT certification exam upon completion of this program. Please contact us for exact up-to-date first-time pass rates for NREMT certification rates.
- Our course management system arrives preloaded with all the handouts, extra documents and links to websites and podcasts. Students are responsible for completing assignments, quizzes, and exams online utilizing this system.
- Our virtual classroom offers the flexibility and convenience of an online format, plus the interaction of a traditional classroom. During classes, you will be able to watch lectures/presentations and interact with your instructor and fellow students in a productive way. At NMETC, each class session is recorded, archived and available for viewing later if you happen to miss a class or want to review your lesson.
- Skills training follows completion of your online EMT classes. You will be required to visit our campus for five days of skills training. You will be trained in all of the National Registry Skills stations and adequately prepared for a multitude of real-world situations through extensive hands-on training and instruction in our state-of-the-art simulation labs.
Upon completion of EMT training from NMETC, you can be prepared to test for licensure to become a paramedic.
