Dave Weber NREMT-P, WNRP, FAWM
David Weber has worked as a rescue technician, wilderness medic, and skills instructor for over a decade. This experience has given him a strong background in both professional urban and backcountry rescue with a working knowledge of a variety of rescue systems. When not teaching for NMETC, he divides his year working as a Denali mountaineering ranger, a lead guide for the Khumbu Climbing Center, and a lead instructor at Remote Rescue Training. Dave fills in his shoulder seasons as an instructor for the American Avalanche Institute, a senior field instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School, and a lead instructor for the Wilderness Medicine Institute. A common theme connecting all of these various pursuits is the opportunity to spend large portions of his year treating injured patients in remote technical settings.
